Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Maison app. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.
Last updated 27 July 2026
1. The agreement
By downloading or using Maison you agree to these terms with Anton Reznik (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 17 years old, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
2. What Maison does
Maison is an AI styling assistant. It catalogues the clothes you own, composes outfits from them, renders those outfits as images on your own likeness, reviews outfits you photograph, and gives an opinion on purchases you are considering.
Every outfit image Maison produces is synthetic. It is a computer-generated depiction, not a photograph. Garments may render with colours, textures, proportions or details that differ from the real item, and a rendering is not a representation of how a garment will actually fit you.
Styling opinions, purchase advice and price comparisons are exactly that — opinions, generated automatically, offered for your consideration. They are not professional advice of any kind, and product prices or availability shown in the app may be out of date or wrong. Verify anything before you spend money on it.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the security of the account you sign in with and for activity that takes place under it. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
4. Your content
The photographs you upload remain yours. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and adapt them purely in order to operate the service for you — to build your portrait reference, to render outfits, and to catalogue your wardrobe. That licence exists only to run the app, ends when you delete the content or your account, and does not permit us to publish or market your images.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. In particular, upload photographs of yourself: do not upload images of other people or images that infringe someone else’s rights.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not upload unlawful, abusive or sexually explicit material.
- Do not attempt to use the app to depict another person, whether real or impersonated.
- Do not probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access to the service, or attempt to bypass usage limits.
- Do not resell the service or the images it produces as a styling service of your own.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these rules.
6. Free use and limits
Maison can be used without paying. The free tier includes a capped number of outfit generations, outfit checks and wardrobe items. These limits are set by us, are enforced on our servers, and may change. If a limit changes in a way that reduces what you already had, we will say so in the app.
7. Maison Premium
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account.
- Price. The price, the billing period and any introductory offer are shown in the App Store, in your local currency, before you confirm the purchase. They may differ by region. The App Store listing, not this page, is the authoritative statement of what you will be charged.
- Free trial. Where an introductory free period is offered, it is described in the App Store at the point of purchase. If you cancel before it ends you are not charged. Any unused portion is forfeited if you subscribe during it.
- Renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple account is charged within 24 hours of the period ending.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in the App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple’s policy and requested through Apple. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
We may change the price of a subscription. Existing subscribers will be given notice and the opportunity to cancel before a new price applies.
8. Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, and the service depends on third parties that can fail or change their own terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and let you export or delete your data.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that generated imagery will be accurate, that styling advice will suit you, or that any purchase recommendation will prove correct. Decisions you make on the basis of the app remain yours.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising out of your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time — see Account deletion. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach of these terms.
12. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Where these terms are less protective of you than Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, that agreement applies instead.
13. Governing law
If you use Maison as a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Nothing in these terms removes rights you cannot lawfully be deprived of.
